Hi, I'm Joss
I am a Personal Trainer based in Warrington, Cheshire.
My past has always been rooted in sports, the outdoors and anything physically active. As a young person I enjoyed playing football and rugby but my main passion was Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) in which I competed and coached for a number of years, representing Great Britain along the way.
Prior to entering the fitness industry, I was a front-line Police Officer. During this time, I coached the Martial Arts team for my force – providing them with both strength & conditioning and Thai Boxing training. With a passion to help more people change their lives, I swapped my patrol boots for trainers and left the police to pursue my love of all things health and fitness.
I am a qualified Strength & Conditioning coach and my approach is strictly evidence-based. I prefer to gear my training towards physical performance- concentrating on what the body can do, rather than just what it looks like.
As the father of a young daughter, in a world where there is an ever-increasing pressure to ‘look a certain way’ I strive to set a positive example. To inspire her and others to be mentally and physically strong and have confidence in their own unique abilities.
Whether it's in person training or online, you're hiring a professional in a 1:1 capacity to perform a PERSONAL training service.
In person you will train with me in a fully equipped PRIVATE studio.
Online You hire ME, full-time as YOUR coach and you get ME. Not a 'team of coaches' working under a spokesperson or model, no automated chat replies, no generic training programmes- no thank you! True PERSONAL training Online, not a watered-down substitute.
These are rarely offered, therefore it's hard to find an online trainer who does it. Weekly Zoom check-in's perhaps, but rarely LIVE 1:1 remote training sessions. You get to spend 1 or 2 hours per week with me, training over video link from wherever you are. It's PERSONAL, it's fun, it's practical- providing real-time coaching and corrections while you train. Additionally, you're more likely to complete the rest of your programmed sessions independently during the week if you have the accountability of meeting with me for an hour or two in between!

I want you to succeed and I fully understand how life can throw a curve ball now and again. I offer flexibility in re-scheduling sessions, in re-writing programming in reaction to evolving goals/illness/injury and flexibility in session format- can't make it to the studio due to work, travel, holidays and still want to train? We can mix and match in person and online sessions to suit.
